Day 13 Moah, Utah

We came here because  it is sandwiched between Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park.  We got much more than that.  We arrived last night, took a little time to figure out what this place was all about and went for it!  We rented a jeep and went on trail rides!!!!!!!!!  Soooooo much fun!  I can't even explain how neat this experience has been!  The jeep rental was CHEAP compared to what I thought it would be!  So, we have spent our day four wheeling in Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park and the surrounding areas!  We have had a blast!

The area where we are standing on the ledge is "THELMA AND LOUISE POINT"!  Wow, Leigh and I took our T and L vacation 15 years ago!  We should have come here...... but not gone over the ledge:)

There was a security guy up there that we stopped and talked to.  He said that they had just finished filming some shots for the movie The Lone Ranger at that same spot.  We will have to check that out!

The area with the waterfall is a "local" area.  The guy at the Jeep Rental place told us about it.  The people that are in the pictures said the same thing.  They asked us how we knew about it!  It is so fun to get off the beaten path and see things like that.  And, believe me.... this was off the beaten path!  We almost gave up, after four wheeling and the hike it took to get there, but once we got there.... it was SO worth it!  Colton LOVED it!!!
