Through the years....

I wanted to share my pictures of Colton that I have taken on the first day of school at the front door!

 PreK

        Kindergarten

                                                                      First Grade

until now ~ My second grader!!!
I try to take a picture of him at the front door on the first day every year.  Obviously that did not work out on the first day of Kindergarten for some reason.  This is the very reason (not for the blog but for the memories, which is why I enjoy doing the blog) that I started taking these pictures.  A lady that I used to work with at Springfield Elementary told me she took a picture of her son standing at the front door on the first day every year.  I thought it was a neat idea and decided that I wanted to try and do the same thing.  I LOVE seeing how much he has grown from PreK until now!  Unbelievable:)

I am so thankful for.........  his ability to learn so easily, his beautiful smile, his silly laughs and that most of all I am his mom.  We have faced many challenges and I know there are so many more to come, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Oh, and here is a picture of me, Colton, Andrew and Keeli!

This is first day of second grade!

and here is a picture of the first day of PreK!

How cute is this????

They tried to leave us, but knew in the end that there would never be anyone else that could take their place in our lives or theirs:)  We are so glad they stayed.  We will have to do this every year from now on (and get Benny Ben in some).

Playing in the Rain

Oh, to be seven again and want to get wet!  These two had a blast playing in the rain.  When they were finished, they were soaking wet!!!  They had fun and I had fun "watching" them:)

This picture cracks me up!  There were not any puddles left on the street after they jumped in EVERY single one of them:)

These are the best days!

No, the pot of gold wasn't there:(  But I have never seen the end of a rainbow like this one!  It ended right in my neighbors yard!!!!
